Appointments

As we do our utmost to minimise waiting times, we ask that you arrive at least five minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to complete a new patient registration form.

And since we allow plenty of time for consultations, should you need to cancel or rearrange your appointment, we kindly ask that you give us at least 48 hours notice.

Payment

We ask that you pay your consultation fee at the time of your appointment, and remind you to bring your referral letter with you to ensure you can claim your Medicare rebate (where applicable).

    Dr Buckland commonly performs plastic surgery to treat the following problems:
  • Vascular malformations (birth marks)
  • Prominent ears
  • Paediatric skin lesions

Most paediatric plastic surgery procedures can be performed in private hospitals and Dr Buckland’s anaesthetists all have specialised training and experience dealing with children and making them comfortable.

During your consultation with Dr Buckland, he will be more than happy to answer the many questions you probably have, and to walk you through the procedure and likely outcome of your child’s surgery. He will also discuss specialist techniques to minimise scarring, improving the chances of the outcome you, and your child, are hoping to achieve.
